Petit à petit l’oiseau fait son nid.

I've always adored this enchanting French saying, not only because it reflects my love for Paris (more on that in the blog) but also because its imagery resonates deeply with me. The literal translation, "little by little the bird builds her nest," paints a picture of warmth and perseverance.

Let's envision a precious little bird—definitely not one of those intimidating NYC pigeons—devotedly gathering twigs, grass, feathers, flowers, and moss all day long. With each building block, she carefully crafts a cozy home, a safe haven where her family will flourish. One by one, she carries each piece back to her nesting area, diligently constructing her dream abode.

This image captivates me, both in the unwavering determination of the bird and the uniqueness of her nest. Just like the bird, we too embark on life's journey, one step at a time, building our nests with experiences, relationships, and cherished moments.

As we embrace this beautiful analogy, it becomes clear that our nest is not just a physical place but a reflection of our lives.
